Leap Years and WikiTree

While trying to enter death date for Ferris-3776 that Find A Grave has as 29 Feb 1869 but WikiTree showed a error and stopped me.
I don't know if 1869 is a leap year and WikiTree has a bug or Find A Grave has a error on date.

Hello Doug.

1869 is not a leap year. 1868 is a leap year.

Leap years are always even numbers, multiples of four.
The exception is that 1700, 1800, and 1900 were not leap years, but 2000 was a leap year. When it come to centuries, (that is, years ending in 00), the first two digits must also be divisible by 4 to be a Leap Year.
