Advice before merging these pre-1700 Weekes-Weeks profiles?

Question

Weeks-1151 is a duplicate of Weekes-361 (side-by-side comparison) so they should be merged. But the dates are different and relatives are different, so it causes conflicts in my family tree.

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding?

Or perhaps someone with more WikiTree experience would like to complete the merge? Let me know if you do. Thanks!

Before the two profiles of Lettice Weekes can be merged, the two profiles for her father William Weekes/Weeks have to be merged (at the moment they are set as unmerged matches) and then there needs to be a decision about the Last Name at Birth (LNAB) of her mother Millicent.  Whether it should be Goodloe or Ledford, or something else?

When there is some conflicting information about dates or names or relationships, the best option is to start looking for additional reliable sources.  That's one of the reasons WikiTree has decided that we cite reliable sources whenever we create or edit pre-1700 profiles.  It is often in that time period where differences start to show up.

I've also added the Southern Colonies tag, because I think that might be the project that covers these profiles.
