Advice before merging these pre-1700 Miles profiles?

Question

Miles-5236 is a duplicate of Miles-485 (side-by-side comparison) so they should be merged.  Between the two profiles, Miles-485 has most of the information and all of the sources, though Miles-5236 does list one child who is not in Miles-485.  Luckily, one of the sources already cited in Miles-485 documents the birth of this child.  

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding?

I feel comfortable completing the merge because I am pre-1700 certified and it looks relatively simple, but if someone with more WikiTree experience would like to handle it, please let me know.

Given that one of the two profiles has only one source, it's hard to do much other than just merge and make sure the profile is properly sourced. The bigger issue for pre 1700 profiles is looking at the sources and making sure they are reliable. Meaning, that it's less about whether the profile is sourced and more about whether it has RELIABLE sources. Whenever possible, list the original source - most genealogical texts cite their primary sources within the text.  For the US, there is quite a bit of helpful detail here: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Pre-1700_Resource_Page

Thank you.  I just looked at the list of pre-1700 projects and found one that might cover this profile, the William Penn and Early Pennsylvania Settlers project.  Should I contact them?
