My MacDonalds came from Scotland, there were 3 generations in Bloomfield Ridge, NB. In my line the first to arrive was Alexander MacDonald, then among his children was my G'g'father, Hugh Alexander MacDonald, he had a few children, among which was my G'mother, Jessie Agnes MacDonald, who  married my G'father, Leaman Livingston Hilton, from Yarmouth, NS. (his ancestors helped found the town). Jessie died in 1936, so I never knew her, do rember my G'father, Leaman though, a florid faced man w/white hair. (A Master Mason, who was in charge of building Danvers State Hospital. Those are my MacDonalds in Canada. Be well, Jack
