Looking  for  parents and  or  grandparents of this John  in Scotland

I added marriage line to the bio and source in the sources section from Scotlands People.  There are many birth of John Marshall in Scotland in 1859, but none with the location mentioned in the profile.

Thank you Since as  you  say,  there  are  numerous john/Jno Marshall in  Scotland  at  thst  time  period it  will  be  a  bit  difficult. My Aunt  Christine Marshall Mcclewin, now deceased traveled to Cockinzi in the 80s  and  talked  with  the  then  resident  of my  John  Marshall's old home( a stone structure located by  the  sea.  I  so  appreciate  your  response.

There were only two John Marshalls born 1858-60 in Tranent Parish, which contains Cockenzie. I expect one was this John. A few credits spent at ScotlandsPeople might tell.
