Connecting a son of Simon Cameron

Question

I am convinced that William Brua Cameron is a son of Simon Cameron but I do not have permission to connect them.  I wonder if someone can make that connection or explain why it shouldn't be made.  Aside from William's middle name, which he used as has preferred first name, he appears with the family in the 1850 census.  The scan is difficult to read, but usable and certainly better than the transcription.

Admittedly I don't have a birth or marriage record absolutely proving this, but the two children already attached seem to have even less documentation.

I received a "thank you" for my original comment but no other positive or negative response.  Thank you for any attention to this.

Looks like Cameron-2771 is under the Notables Project. You may want to contact them with your information.  I will say that a reliable source is most likely needed to make any changes. But I am sure they will have a look at what you have to show them.
