Hello, I'm not great at the forums, so hopefully I'm doing it right. Started researching the family tree with encouragement from my maternal grandfather who went into an orphanage as a baby. He met my grandmother in the orphanage, so we didn't know much about the family lines, not beyond their parents names and siblings. Since then I've gotten ahold of a Brenneman Family Book that filled out so much of my grandfather's line and I've expanded from there.
More recently I've been trying to fill in my father's line which I don't have much information for, but I'm slowly piecing it together.
Far from a professional at this, but I'm learning as I go. Just this week I got my results back from DNA testing. Since wikitree keeps popping up in my search results, I decided it was time to check it out.
