Hoping to Connect William Rhoads to the Larger Wikitree [closed]

There were at least three known men by the name of William Rhodes / Rhoads / Roads who lived in Orange County, North Carolina during the Revolutionary War. I have been trying to separate them out into who was who. In doing so, I was trying to use DNA, but the segments are really too small and it was many years ago, so DNA may not be the right tool to figure it out.

There are quite a lot of primary sources for these William Rhodeses. There are also many trees involved to de-tangle and conflation has been a problem. Anyway, I am closing this post, but will continue to work to fix the many problems with the Rhodes/Rhoads/Roads family.

Is that why you caused so much havoc with the Rhodes profiles because you wanted to find a connection? That's bad genealogy.
The Rhodes profiles were already a big mess. I am trying to correct the mess using primary sources, just trying to use DNA as a little help.

Any changes I made to the tree were not because of DNA, but because of primary sources such as wills.
Well, I disagree that you sorted them out.

Despite you admitting that William Rhodes had multiple people all merged together, three in fact, you supported merging my William Rhodes into that mess, even though my profile was sourced and of one singular person. When I declined to merge them and pointed out that the dates and locations were wrong on that messed up profile, you transformed the messed up one into the same person as the one on my profile and created two new ones for the other Williams that had been merged in. That was nice! My multi-sourced profile for the William Rhodes already existed and now would have to be merged into the new one you transformed.

Then you found a John Rhodes who had absolutely no sources and no proof at all that he was related to that William Rhodes accept the estimated dates that were similar and you attached him to William Rhodes thereby leaving my correct profile for the well sourced John Rhodes as a dead end. I call that causing havoc.
Well, I apologize. There can only be one profile per person. I believe that there were multiple profiles and several incorrect children attached to incorrect people. I was certainly trying to help the wikitree and not hurt your tree. There is only one profile allowed per person.
I believe that the William Rhodes that you are so upset about is Rhodes-814. There were already two previous trees that had reference to him in the wikitree. In merging, there are now two profile managers. They probably would be happy for your help in making that profile awesome.
Yes, I know the rules. I had a profile for one single person and yet you turned the uber-profile of a William Rhodes with three people into the exact same person as mine and then started two other new William Rhodes profiles that weren't the same as mine. So, you actually created a William Rhodes profile of a person that already existed. Then you attached a completely incorrect son to him. That's what I am annoyed with. You have been here long enough that you should know how to interact and work with people instead, in my opinion, you just bulldozed through and did your thing.
