New member introducing myself

Hi,

My name is Jeffrey Johnson. I have been on WikiTree for a little over a week now. I am really grateful for all the volunteers and maintainers of this site.

My purpose here is to discover and meet biological family. I was adopted in a state with closed records, so I know very little about my biological parents.

My adoptive parents were awesome! But getting a DNA test has really tweaked my interest in my biological roots.

I hope to find and meet my biological relatives one day, including any half-brothers and half-sisters. I have some tenuous leads but really don't know what I'm doing at this point.

I appreciate the response. I hope it didn't seem I was pushing for anything. I know the adoption angels are busy. I just expected maybe an automated email letting me know my request was in the queue. If it didn't make it for some reason, I was going to resubmit it.

I didn't see this as 'pushy'  I'm still learning my way around the site. Not really sure how many things are automated, but many things are addressed on an individual basis.
