I recently got the suggestion to change the privacy setting of a profile to open. His 150th birthday had passed since the profile was created. This might happen quite frequently. Can't this be done automatically?

It will happen automatically, just not on the very day.

The privacy is opened automatically by WikiTree+ for public profiles each week after the fresh data is imported. For private and unlisted it is not automated, since there may be some sensitive info in the biography, so it needs a human action.

As far as I know, it's not automatic and there isn't a way to do it automatically. You can look at your suggestion list and it will give you a list of all the profiles that exceed the requirements on your own list. That's the easiest way to find them.

To find your "Suggestion" list, hover over "My Wikitree" from the top menu and scroll down to "Suggestions."

Currently it is a manual process - there are approx 9000 profiles on WikiTree in that situation (as of last week's suggestions report) that need looking at.

Manual process - either PM opens it (changes privacy)

or a two step process -

Requester (usually a Datadoctor) - checks and requests via 'open profile request form' and then a Database Admin - checks again then changes the privacy setting.

There was some 'talk' that it was being looked into to automate some of them, but I know that we have 'False' Suggestions on some profiles because the 'before' and 'after' is not looked at when the suggestion is created
