Information on Evans from Wales who came to New Brunswick on the Albion (1819)

I would like to find information on the ancestors of James Evans (Evans-38337) who came on the ship Albion from Cardiganshire, Wales to Saint John, New Brunswick in 1819 and established the Cardigan settlement. In particular, I would be interested in specific places where they lived in addition to the standard information if available.

Any leads on where to look would be appreciated.

Thanks everyone. Sorry, I realize that I am not very clear. I am mostly interested in James Evans and his ancestors in Wales before they arrived in Canada. The Cardigan settlement near the Nashwaak River has been fairly well documented in the Thomas book Strangers from a Secret Land. I find UK resources are more difficult to find or access than Canadian ones and can be behind paywalls and pre-1800 records are often more difficult to access.

There are passenger lists here.  They are incomplete but they are what they are.  http://www.olivetreegenealogy.com/ships/tocan1400-1800.shtml

The New Brunswick archives has some useful databases. Start with vital statistics but also click on the search tab to see more.

Library and Archives Canada has more resources. Start here:

Good luck with your research!
