how do I find my father's wiki ID?

I had my whole family typed in here and unfortunately; I closed my account.  I am back now and I have to type them all in again.  Shouldn't there be wiki ID's for everyone?  If so; how do I find them?

The two profiles are:

The way I found them was doing a search for Henry Barnes, and selecting exact last name matches. Then sorted by birth, and scrolled down the list to them being born in 1913.

The one with the lowest number is the first one created. You could adopt the first, and then merge the two. This should then connect you to your father's family.

You may need to merge other profiles if you re-entered them.

Hi Catherine,

Thanks to George's information I suggested these merges. The best way to find existing profiles is to search using the name fields on the top of every page. For a common name like Barnes, I would search using the first name as well, then sort by birthdate. Then I scan the profiles at least five years before and after the birthdate. I do this before every profile that I add.
