Since profile is now open, why can't merge be completed? [closed]

Question

WikiTree tech assistance is requested to determine why a merge cannot be completed. A merge was proposed between Flanders-2090 and Flanders-7 and the last updated on the merge was 2022-01-15 03:12:26. At the time the merge was initiated, Flanders-2090 was not open; however, the profile manager on Flanders-2090 approved the merge. Flanders-2090 is now open and more than 30 days have passed from the initiation of the merge, but there is no default approval for the merge to be completed. Flanders-7 has been open and the profile manager as not responded including to a private message. What is needed to allow the merge to be completed? Perhaps I see a potential problem - while the open icon shows on the profile of Flanders-7, when you open the privacy tab, both the open and the public privacy selections are both selected.  While only one selection should occur, there appears to be a bug that fails to allow only a mutually exclusive privacy selection. What's the fix?

Gaye Banks is my sister.  I'm finding WikiTree to be extremely confusing (not to mention that I also have long covid and am very tired) and Russell Butler has the patience of a saint.  Everything has been worked out to our mutual satisfaction.

I think if you send an e-mail to info at wikitree.com, they will complete the merge.

I don't know if it will help but log out and then, log in. Did you both approve the merge? I see it's over 30 days since the proposal.

Thanks. No luck with logging out and logging back in.  If it is not an issue with Flanders-7, it may be that I was only able to have Flanders-2090 open more than 30 days after the merge was initiated.  Flanders-2090 has approved the merge, but no response from Flanders-7. Regardless, 30 day default approval should have occurred. I've emailed info@wikitree.com to see if that is a way to complete the merge.
