I have never heard of the business house of names to be considered a reputable source of information. Years ago I bought something similar from a similar company and after searching their information found that none of it has sources for their speculation.
There is no such thing as born in possibly Ireland, unless there is some source, location, etc. speculation is not knowledge. You might read all you can on the location where you have definate proof of their existence and see what is mentioned about them, their friends and family, perhaps you will find a shipping record?
There were millions of people in Ireland at that time, many with the same name born at similar dates, Ireland did not require the registration of births, deaths or marriages until the mid 1840's. There maybe some parishes that hold records earlier but it is imperative that you know where they came from in Ireland to pursue them.
When you find more information please let me know I would love to pursue this with you. I am aware of a Robert Coffey (1869) with a son William Coffey (1841) , who is to have come from County Down, Ireland to Canada, which was the most common way to come over as they were both british territories at that time and the passage was less expensive.
