Should John Goddard be PGM?

According to Genealogical Dictionary of Maine and New Hampshire (3:267), John Goddard of Oyster River, carpenter, arrived in the Pied Cow, 8 July 1634, with partners James Wall and William Chadbourne--all under contract of 14 March 1633/4 with James Mason. 

Continuing, "by 1642, he was sett. at Dover..."

John Goddard's daughter, Elizabeth Goddard, married John^1 Gilman. (Genealogical Dictionary of Maine and New Hampshire 3:264 calls her his first wife, the mother of nine children).
