Correct LNAB

Question

The husband of Phoebe Collins, Jean John Pappas, was born 25 Mar 1898 in Plassia, Greece. His naturalization application lists two Greek surnames Papazakaria and Papazaharis and his americanized alias. Does anyone have experience or resources to assist with determining a LNAB before I create a profile for him?

Unfortunately I have no experience or resources for Greek ancestry and so far have found no reference to his parents. That might be available in the marriage record for him and Phoebe but I have not yet found it.

Do you know if there is a Wikitree Greek project?

So apparently it's not yet a formal project.

It looks to me like you're an Ancestry subscriber, so if you've searched Ancestry I doubt I can do any more than you have. Like you, I have no Greek experience.  I've posted a comment to the Greek Roots project free-space page with some possible lists of resources.

you may have a look at familysearch and their collection of greek records. On the other hand I don't know how good they are when you don't know an exact place to look for.
