I added the husband's ID# to Page-14710, Anna Page, and now cannot save it.  The box says "your draft is fully saved and up to date.  What is wrong?

Margaret, did you enter anything in the explanation box?  In order to make a full save, that box cannot be empty, although it can be empty when you save a draft, planning to continue working on the profile.

I have also seen the "your draft is fully saved and up to date" message that Margaret describes. To get around it, I have made an inconsequential edit to the profile (such as adding a useless space in the text), and the profile saves as intended.

PS - One possible cause for this behavior is that some format changes, such as adding italics, that are made via the formatting menu don't seem to be recognized as changes. This was true before the new saving system was created.

Good advice, Ellen. One minor point: it should be sufficient to add a space to the biography text and then delete that space again. There is no need to leave the useless space behind:-)

Yes, I did add the explanation box.  The profile is now saved, although I didn't do anything to it after I posted the question.  Maybe it just needed to rest awhile?
