  • We have been looking for this for years.  We would like to verify if the information from Mayflowercharts is good.  I have started a profile on Wikitree.  This would be Helen Joan Day Slusher in that tree.

There is no documentation to show that John Bolling (1676-1729) had a middle name of "Fairfax."  His Wikitree profile is at [[Bolling-10|John Bolling (1676-1729)]]. He lived (and died) in Henrico County, Virginia and had six children, all named in his will:

  1. John Bolling Jr. (1700–1757) married Elizabeth Blair (who was the niece of James Blair, the first president of The College of William & Mary) on August 1, 1728 and had children, including John Bolling, who married Mary Jefferson, the sister of United States President Thomas Jefferson.
  2. Jane Bolling (1703–1766) married Colonel Richard Randolph in 1714 or 1720 and had six children.
  3. Elizabeth Bolling (born 1709), married William Gay of Scotland and had three children
  4. Mary Bolling (1711–1744), married John Fleming and had eight children.
  5. Martha Bolling (1713–1737), married Thomas Eldridge in 1729 and had four children.
  6. Anne Bolling (1718–1800), married James Murray and had six children.
