John Fenwick's Magna Carta trail to William de Mowbray is sourced; volunteer wanted to join and finish the trail!

The profiles in John Fenwick's trail to William de Mowbray have all been sourced. That is a great start for the Magna Carta project, where we are building trails from colonial Gateway Ancestors to their surety baron ancestors.

This trail spans 17 generations and covers 511 years. The 5 generations closest to William de Mowbray are already complete, leaving 12 still to go.

When the trail is complete, any descendant of this Gateway will be able to follow a well sourced, well documented trail from their Gateway back to a surety baron.

Does anyone want to volunteer for the project and finish this trail? That would include adding biographies, adding additional sources, cleaning up the profiles (removing gedcom junk, etc.), confirming dates, confirming relationships.

This is an intermediate to advanced volunteer opportunity. We need volunteers that are familiar with the sources, have a high attention to detail, and have the Pre-1700 badge.

The 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta is coming up in June 2015.

Thanks for considering joining our team!
