Colonel Andrew N McDonald (1827) 106th New York Co. B. Death date?

The Colonel has a very interesting military career in the U.S. Civil War joining the 106th New York Regiment Company B. He was a P.O.W. and appears died from disease but not in prison when he died. When did he die? Where is he buried? Does he have a FindAGrave memorial?

Any help in collaboration in this civil war Colonel’s genealogy is appreciated.

Thank you

I found this but I can't get into it because it interrupts and wants me to join???  If is a newspaper article from 1885 about Col. Andrew N. McDonald being unconscious.

https://www.nytimes.com/1885/01/29/archives/suffering-from-morphine-col-andrew-n-mdonald-of-jersey-city-falls.html
