Amelia Earhart is an interesting connection in a number of different ways. My mother was drawn to the life of Amelia Earhart; a pin-up girl of a different sort, you might say; achievements as opposed to visual appeal.

Another interesting piece of the pattern that is my connection to Ms Earhart is that my mother has no connection or relationship to her. My dad however, does have a blood relationship to er through his Parsons/Sewell/Fairchild/ Andrews; my line went a son & hers went a daughter. Even my ex-brother-in-law has a connection through the Lynch line.
