I have been researching this family. I found the following information and would like to share it. Can this family be further sorted out?  There seems to be an issue here.  Is this information correct?

JOHANNES SCHENK Of Bushwick, Long Island and His Desc; Maries; Muller; 1948, NY

Pages 1, 2

"... Children:

Margrietje - bapt June 12, 1687, at Esopus; died Aug 1721,; married in 1705 John Stryker of Flatbush, born Aug. 6, 1684; died Aug. 17, 1770.
Johannes - bapt. Oct. 13, 1689, at Esopus; died young.
2. Johannes - born April 30, 1691.
3. Peter.
Cornelia - married Capt. Charles Duryea. Abraham - bapt. Jan. 31, 1697; died young...""... The two sons of the first Johannes who grew to manhood both married and carried on the line.
Johannes II, the elder of the two probably made his home in Bushwick close to his father although he owned property in neighboring Newtown.
Records show that on May 20, 1724, he sold 113 acres of land in Newtown near the Bushwick boundry to his brother, Peter.
In 1728 he represented the town of Buswick on the Board of Supervisors of Kings County.
He died at the comparatively early age of 38.
His widow, Maria Lott Schenck with their eight surviving children thereafter made her home with her father-in-law.
Peter, the second son of the first Johannes, settled in Newtown.
Here he was active in the organization and building of the First Reformed Church of Newtown.
His name appears on the list of the first wardens of the church.
He married Elizabeth Woertman who bore him eight children.
He died in 1736 and his widow, in 1738, married Jonathan Luqueer of Albany.
The family, however, apparently continued to live on Long Island.
For the sake of clarity it seems advisable to treat the two sons of Johannes separately.
Accordingly the remainder of the book is divided into two sections.
Section I carried the line of the second Johannes down to the present generation.
Section 2 does the same for the descendants of Peter..."
