New member introducing myself

Hello, I'm working on my four grandparents' lines and have been for some time.  Having been at it for some time I naturally have run into some brick walls and as always looking for advice, help, suggestions, etc.  Will post specific questions as I learn more about the site and wish to help any others when I can do so.  The four grandparents' surnames are Quinn, Whitehurst, Huff and Covington.

Hi Larry and Welcome

The best way to start is to add those parents and grandparents that you know already. Add the best sources you have.  Keep building out (siblings)(inlaws) and up. Sooner or later you will connect to a profile that exists here already.
