When the Connection Finder featured American founders, I wondered if I have a better connection to Canada's Fathers of Confederation. I do! I went to the Category: Fathers of Confederation and from there found that I am 11 degrees from Robert Wilmot and 12 degrees from Robert Dickey, Andrew Macdonald and Oliver Mowat. 5 more are 13 degrees from me.

Only Thomas McGee in unconnected.

How about that, Canadians. Who ar you connected with?

One pair of my husband's maternal great-grandparents were born in Canada. His closest connections are twelve degrees from Charles Tupper and Jonathan McCully; thirteen from William Steeves and Samuel Tilley.
