While working on my sourcing this morning I came across https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Trask-677. I found a marriage source pretty readily and was almost ready to move on. But, in reviewing other possible sources, something seemed wrong. The original profile had a birthplace in New Hampshire, USA and a birth date that turned out to be 10 years off. In the 4 census records I was able to locate for George, his place of birth was reported as Nova Scotia, New Hampshire, New York, and Massachusetts.
Down the rabbit hole time.
Turns out George was actually born in Nova Scotia, Canada and once I added the correct information I had, other sources poured in.
Quite a challenging profile, but fun to work on.
