New member introducing myself

Hello, My name is Kingsley Shoumack.  I was born in Adelaide South Australia in 1943, and I now live on the Sunshine Coast, Qeensland, Australia. My Shoumack heritage on my father's side goes back to England/Wales, and Ive been able to trace it back to William [1 of 3], 1716-, who married Ann Hewlett 1716- in Martock Somerset, my 5th great grandparents.  Since 1716, there has been at least 4 different spelling to my Ancestral Name, and to Shoumack, it chenged for whatever reason in about 1907 the other surname spelling included, Shoemake, Shoemark, Shumack and I am the last of the 2nd generation who arrived in South Australia in 1925, my dad Albert Edward, and his brothers being the 1st.  I would love to hear from anyone who can relate to this family. I do know that there were family members in New Zealand who are directly related, as well as many here in Australia, but I have not been able to make contact with anyone here.

my name is paul shoemake

ive just started researching my family tree after a half hearted attempt some years ago.at the time i had found out that the family came from martock in somerset which incidently is not far from where i live in weston super mare in the uk.my branch of shoemakes left martock and went to swansea in wales to work in a copper smelting works.the earliest of my ancestors that ive found is james shoemake who married anne white in 1818 they had five children james,jane,ephriam arthur and grace.
