Background image with no associate image on image page?

Does anyone else see this? When I go tothis profile, I see a background image that dominates the entire profile page; typically a background image sits behind the narrative, etc., but this one is behind everything. AND there is no image on the image page associated with it. (So no way to turn it off.)

I'm on a macbook air using Chrome 89.0.4389.90

I just noticed something else that might be related.

When I look at a profile that does not have a background image on it,  it appears differently depending on my browser.

1. On Safari 14.0.3 on a MacBook Air, the narrative of a profile is in a white box. There is a pale grey background or border around the narrative box.

2. On Chrome 89.0.4389.90 also on the MacBook Air, the entire background is grey; there is no white anywhere. This is new to me; Chrome used to display like Safari above. I think the change happened this week.

And I have confirmed that if a profile DOES have a background, it looks normal in Safari (i.e., the background is really in the background, behind the profile sections), but dominates the entire screen in Chrome.
Do you have a screenshot of what the bug looks like?

This is Ros' profile looked at with Chrome on a Macbook

Weird, I wonder if it's a Mac-specific issue since it looks fine in Chrome for me.
Not mac-specific, because Safari on Mac looks one way; Chrome on Mac looks another way.

The background image showing in front and covering everything up is a known issue with IE6.

I think it is rather pretty; but, if you want to get rid of it, go to the Edit tab, scroll down, and on the right-hand side is a section called 'Edit Photo Settings'.  Against the Background is a tick box and 'remove as background'.  Don't forget to Save Changes.

The image is not appearing on the right-hand side because it looks (I think) to be one of the seamless wallpapers which is hosted elsewhere, not on the profile.
Thank you, Ros. I learned two new things today-- editing images from the Edit screen (I usually work from the Images tab), and that one can add a background using a URL. (How does one do that, though?)

So the problem appears not to be just with IE6; I'm using Chrome on a macbook.

When you add a background, you usually just put the name of the jpg in there.  For instance,
Seamless_tiled_background_textures-25.jpg

I don't think you would use a URL, (probably from another site), because then the image would not be on WT and you would be stealing bandwidth.  You need to have uploaded it to WT first.

That's what I thought; there just wasn't an uploaded image that I could see for the original profile where there had been a background.
Well, I'm glad we sorted it out - it's something to do with Chrome, but on Safari everything is fine.

As requested, I have archived the entire conversation we had on my profile. :)
