Jones/Welsh Family

I have been researching my family tree for some time now. I have been able to go back for several generations on 3 of my 4 grandparents. The one I am having trouble with is my grandmothers side through my mother. I have only been able to find reliable information for my great-grandparents in this line. I have been told by relatives that this line has some native american indian in it, but not sure if it is through Jones or Welsh. I have done a general search online for more information and cannot find anymore. Any help in the right direction would be appreciated.

Thanks

EDIT...

The names of my great-grandparents are Coleman A. Jones and Grace Welsh.

You didn't give a timeframe or location so can't tell if this might be the correct family.  This Coleman was the son of Benjamin b. abt 1862 and Ellen Jones b. abt 1878.

Maybe you will recognize the names of some siblings?  In 1930 Ellen in widowed, living with sons William and Gerald W/Jeryl.   There are more records for some of these people in Harford County, MD.  You might try to find Coleman Alberts birth record with the county clerk, or of siblings to see if they provide more information.

Also, Henrietta Jone Bush (?sister) is buried  Coopstown, Harford, MD.  A Death record might provide more? http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=51940682

Thanks for the information. I have the info you gave in the first list. Ellan R. Jones and Benjaim Jones only had sons, no daughters that I know of. I am Coleman A.Jones' great-grandson. He served in both WWI and WWII, and was a train engineer for the MA and PA railroad. He died just a few days before he was to retire. Coleman quite school in the 4th grade in order to get a job to support his family. His dad must have died somewhere around 1905.
