Can someone add my GEDCOM with theirs?

How does all this work?

Your next step is to process your GEDCOM through the GEDCOMpare system:

Help:GEDCOMpare .

Processing your GEDCOM involves comparing potential matching profiles, marking them as either a match or rejecting them as a non-match.

You can edit matching profiles as you go through the comparison process, but you should only add new information if you haven't communicated yet with any of the relevant profile managers.

You can add new profiles only after you see the ADD button.

GEDCOMpare may seem non-intuitive, especially if you don't have much experience creating and editing profiles at WikiTree.

If your GEDCOM is large, you may want to split it into smaller, more manageable chucks to speed up your  learning of this system and the processing of your GEDCOM.
