Jonas Cline (Cline-854) married
Catherine Rose, (Roosa-269) who is named Tryntje Roos on birth / baptismal records. [OR IS THAT A SEPARATE PERSON?]
Tryntje Caty Roosa (Roosa-347) is another profile that is occasionally linked and unlinked to Jonas and to her (or Catherine)'s parents Johannes Roosa (Roosa-68), and Elizabeth Masten (Masten-5). There are also several Jacob Klyn or Kleyn profiles in the same birth range on Family search, some with ancestors and some a dead end, but separate from Jonas Cline, who is firmly attached to Catherine Roosa (Rose) on Family Search.
On Ancestry she is named Tryntje Catherine (Caty Rose) Roosa. When she grew up, she Americanized her name to Catherine Rose, or Caty Rose for short. This has endlessly confused geneologists who have argued about whether Jonas Cline's wife was Tryntje or Catherine.

Regarding which sister is the wife of Jonas Jacob Cline (Cline-854), I found a note, that I responded to, on the profile for Tryntje Caty Roosa. Roosa-347 Note: Discrepancies I am seeing: In the list from Indiana D.A.R. It states Jonas Cline (Klyn, Klynn) married Catherine Rose Roosa. In the Warsing Reformed Church there two listings in diff places:
1. Tryntje Roos married Jacob Klyn.
2. Tryntje Roos married Jonas Klyn Among her siblings is listed a Catherine.
3. In a Millennium File source it calls “Catherine (Roosa, Tryntje) Rose”. Tryntje is sometimes called Caty. One of her children is Catherine (Caty), or Catharina (Caty).
MY RESPONSE TO NOTE: I agree completely with the above statement. I compared my DNA match to each member of the family, and have a strong direct match to Johannes, Elizabeth, and Catherine Caty (Roosa) Cline. Roosa-269 I had no shared DNA with Tryntje Caty Roosa (Roosa-347). I believe they are the same person, Both profiles show the same birth and death dates., Tryntje Catherine ( Roosa) Cline, nick name Caty. I vote to merge them. She WAS named Tryntje Roosa at birth, and on Catherine's profile I will add a photo of that birth record from the Dutch records.
