wondering who to contact

Wondering who to contact about six possible notables from an historic event for whom I have not found profiles.  They are likely to have descendants and at least need profiles.   This might be of more interest for the Slavery Project but these folks were freemen.  How their freedom was maintained is the story - and associated with what some consider to be the first shots fired in the Civil War (though in 1851).

I see you have a tag for Ford on this question - wondering which Ford you may be asking about. Are you looking to create profiles for the persons freed by Lloyd Ford through his will? I haven't looked to see if Larkin or any of the others have profiles.
Probably not, Emily.  Only found a Thomas Ford with information about a will, and the dates do not coincide, nor with the two earliest Lloyd Fords.   But there might be a connection in some way.

It is about a definitive event that challenged the act of 1850 that we refer to as The Fugitive Slave Act..  I've looked at the page, as suggested and contacted Emma.
Mary, I'm currently out ill, but will answer your email as soon as I can. Thanks for asking your question! Emma
Oh dear.  No rush, Emma.  Just concentrate on getting well.  Mary
