How do I link three siblings of the same family who have different birth parents?

My mother (Buntzler-1) is adopted, and so is one of her brothers (Buntzler-4). In the same family, the youngest (Buntzler-2) of the three siblings is the only natural born son of his parents.

I don't presently have my mother's actual birthparents on my tree, but we are waiting on the results of genetic test and I plan to write the orphanage for more information.

I like to maintain some kind of link on my tree between my mother and her two brothers, even though they are all not genetically related, but the WikiTree setup appears to want linked siblings to have the same parents.

Wouldn't it be easier to allow links to be made to siblings without necessarily having to link to the parents, in case there are adoptees in the family?

I'm still rather new to this whole setup, and it was suggested that I post my question here.

I'm new to this, and in a similar situation, but my understanding is that you place a note in the Biography text block that gives the profile link to the second set of parents.

For instance, Jane Jones' birth mother is Ivy Green-4497

Then go on the parents profile and reverse the message that links to the child.  I would guess you could do this to the 3 siblings if you haven't made profiles the 2nd parents.

There is an information page on this in the Help section.

Good luck
