Was Susannah Royal the daughter of John "Quaker" Bates?

Trying to clean up an item on my suggestions list.  Susannah was apparently born several years after John died, so that certainly makes the relationship suspect.  John is documented in "Adventurers or Purse and Person," left a will, (no Susannah) and his children appear to be well documented.  The only information I could find on Susannah's parents was that she "might have been" a Bates.  This isn't my family, I adopted some of them a while back, so I'm not familiar with their history.  Unless someone has actual documentation connecting Susannah (and showing that she was born several years earlier than the current guess) I propose detaching her from these parents.

The records for the family should be found in Henrico Monthly Meeting minutes that survive. Just looking at the marriage record these Bates profiles need some attention paid to use of suffixes (Jr, Sr, etc). Hinshaw VI:155 gives the marriage of this John Bates but I am not seeing a list of offspring (might be elsewhere in the volumn). Also, "Quaker" should be switched to nickname box if it was actually used in the period (doubtful)--it's currently placed as his middle name.
