Connection Combat - Fight of the Fangs (John Polidori vs. Anne Rice)

Another Halloween Connection Combat!

This week we're going to sink our teeth into two of the most notable vampire story authors of all time:

John William Polidori, the author of the first published modern vampire story, The Vampyre (which was erroneously credited to Lord Byron)

versus

Anne Rice, known for her series, The Vampire Chronicles.

John's profile is open, but Anne is still living. The profiles of her husband, sister, and parents are open, though.

As always, the rules are here. Post in this thread when you've made a connection so I can hop out of my coffin and declare a winner.

Rives-58 has a:

Direct Ancestral Relationship Found: Timothy Rives is the great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great grand father of Anne Rice

&

Rives-58 has 25 degrees of separation from AJ

For some reason I can't get the AJ calculator to work for Anne Rice

Awesome work, Doug!

(The calculator updates once a day, usually overnight. Anne Rice's profile will show the connection some time tomorrow.)

We have a winner! Doug Lockwood connected Anne Rice to AJ through her Rives family ancestors.

Who is going to connect John Polidori to win the bonus round?

John might be difficult to trace 90 percent of his families lines seem to die out within 1 or 2 generation  of him.

Yeah, he's going to take familiarity with 18th and 19th century England and a huge wide your-wife's-brother's-wife's-first-husband's-daughter's-cousin's-children approach.
