Three different listings are all the same person

I have adopted the profile of Miles M Terry, profile Terry-598.  I have not cleaned it up yet - it has a lot of missing information.

I believe that Terry-85 and Terry-1210 are the same Miles Terry as Terry-598.

There's a lot of duplicate siblings and other things on them that are wrong or imcomplete.  How is the best way to go about having one true and correct listing for this person?

Nice work identifying the duplicates, Michele.

Just looking at this quickly, there is a lot of work to be done on this family.  There are also at least two records for each of his parents (mother, one with maiden name, the other says Unknown).  There is also still much cleanup work from a previous merge that needs to be done.  Most Wikitreers like to start merging from the earliest generation of duplicate profiles, because one set of parents will be disconnected on a merge farther down the line.  That's not a disaster if you keep track of the needed merges and propose them, too.  But it's cleaner and easier to start with the earliest duplicated generation.

Once you've become comfortable on WikiTree you'll realize the value of merging duplicate profiles.

Ultimately there will be only one profile for each individual. As they are merged (into the lowest number) the errors will be corrected and only the true information will remain.

As  you add or correct information  you will add also a source of this information as to where it is printed, so others can verify it.

Start by scrolling down to the bottom of the profile for Terry-598.  Then click on the link "initiate a merge".

You want all three to get merged down into the lowest numbered profile, so you should initiate merges with both Terry-598 and Terry-1210 into Terry-85.  Then you're going to have to wait for approval from the other two profile managers, someone has to complete the mergers once they're approved and then someone gets to clean up the final fully merged profile.

I would also suggest that you're likely to have some other merges in this family as well since there are multiples of some of the siblings of Miles as well.  A good project to get your feet wet with merging and thanks for your help.
