On 30 Mar 2018 Susan O'Carroll wrote on Smithers-719:

Sister Elizabeth Smithers marrried George Francis Parker and they had 13 children. They bought Altydgedacht farm in Durbanville. Cape Town in 1851 and it remains in the Parker family today.
