Putting a different link on an Image

If I put an image into the Biography text (using the [[IMAGE]] construct) and then click on it, I go to the Image's page.  I want to go where I want to go!  Like if I click on the image I go to a project page.

I've tried something like:  [http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/xxxxx | [[Image:xx.jpg|75px|hover text]]]  and, of course, that doesn't work the way I want it to.

Any help?  Thanks.

Bob, I think this is a good idea.  It is pretty common for webpages but I do not think we have something in place for this right now.  I recategorized it for Wiki tech to catch the guys who really know this stuff and added the improvements tag.

It appears that this is not currently possible on WikiTree. I found out how to do it on Wikipedia (see here) but tried that method here and it didn't work. It's possible that feature was introduced in a newer version of MediaWiki than WikiTree is based on.
