Private Timothy Saunders served with Capt. Nathaniel Fales' Company, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.

" Pressey (Ezra6) ... He m. Mary Saunders ... Her birth record is in Deer Isle as Molley daughter of Timothy and Ann Saunders, and a sister to Elizabeth "Betsey" who m. Ezra's brother, Thomas Saunders . . " by Dr. Bemjamin Lake Noyes from the Pressey Notebook page 313.

  • ii. Betsey Saunders; b. 4 Dec 1785[2]; m. Thomas Pressey, son of Eliphalet Chase Pressey and Sally Howard, 16 Jun 1801 at Deer Isle, Hancock, Maine; d. 15 Apr 1886 at age 100.
  • iii. Polly Saunders; b. 1786[citation needed]. Noted: No 1786 Record of Birth found, all indications are that "Polly" Mary aka Polly is Molly Saunders born 20 Nov 1789.
