Biography
Alta was born in 1906. She was the daughter of Bob McWhorter and Nettie Cockerham. She passed away in 1993.
She married William Jackson Ross about 1928. Their children were Don Ross, Jacqulyn Dephnia (Ross) Budagher (1929–2012) and Shirley (Ross) Weightman.
Alta retired as manager of TG&Y in Amarillo after 25 years.
Alta passed away on 8 June 1993 in Dumas, Moore, Texas followed with burial at the Northlawn Memorial Gardens in Dumas, Moore County, Texas.
