Biography

Ephraim Grant was baptized at the First Church of Berwick, Maine (then in Massachusetts) on 25 Apr 1731, the son of James Grant and Sarah (Joy) Grant.^[1]

Military

Private Ephraim Grant, baptized 25 April 1731 in Berwick, Maine District, Massachusetts, died after 1799, and his wife Abigail Thurroll served Massachusetts as a patriot & soldier during the American Revolution: 1) CAPT ANDREW GRANT, COL JOSIAH BREWER 2) MEMBER OF COMMITTEE OF SAFETY. Their children included James Grant, born 06-January 1787, who married Betsy Green.^[2]
