Biography

Timothy Dunton, Jr. was born circa 1752, in Westport, Lincoln, Massachusetts, a son of Timothy Dunton and Elizabeth Smith. [1](Note: The district of Maine, which was part of Massachusetts, became part of Maine, when that state was created in 1820) On January 15, 1805,in Boothbay, Lincon county, Massachusetts [Maine District] Timothy married Margaret Pinkham, a daughter of Solomon Pinkham and Mary (Perry) Pinkham[2].

Timothy's date of death is uncertain, but his last child was born in 1822[3].
