The birth date or location of Lot Curtis is unknown. According to Hosmer, he had squatters rights to alot he settled in Deer Isle at Pressey Village, sometime before the year of 1785. This lot was acquired by Paul Pressey. On August 23rd, 1785 he signed the written invitation urging Rev. Peter Powers to settle on Deer Isle. [1]
Lot's daughters, Mary (Molly/Polly) and Miriam, were baptized on January 31st, 1786 in Deer Isle.[2]
Lot passed away on February 17th, 1786 in Deer Isle, Lincoln, Massachusetts.[3][4]
