Biography

• An item in Windsor and Richmond Gazette dated 4th February, 1899 reads:
• Mr. James Benjamin Turnbull died at Wilberforce on January 25th, and was buried on the following day (Anniversary Day). Deceased was a son of Mr. Ralph Turnbull, and was a native of the district.

He leaves a wife and eight children. Death was due to consumption, from which deceased had for some time been a great sufferer. The remains were carried to the Cemetery by four of deceased's sons, where the Rev. Mr. Newton conducted the funeral service. Mr. T. Collison, of Windsor, was the undertaker.
