Biography

Samuel Price Stevenson is found as S. Price, or just Price, in some records, probably to avoid confusion with his father. For example he is listed as Price with his parents and siblings in the 1880 census.^[1]

He applied for a passport in 1924, giving his father's name and his own full name and birth date.^[2]

In the 1930 Census^[3], Samuel P Stevenson is living with sister M Catherine Stevenson, who is probably the "Kate M Stevenson" in the Thomas Stevenson book.^[4]

He passed away in 1935.^[5] He apparently never married or had children.
