Biography

Born in New Jersey, Samuel lived mostly in Pennsylvania. He may have visited or lived for a time in or near Leavenworth, Kansas, where his brother Richard took a set of family photos.

The Thomas Stevenson book names children Samuel Price, Charles Edward (married Emma Sharpless), Harry Bowman (married Mary Wright), Oscar (married Mary Crozer Taylor), and Kate M.

In 1880 the US Census shows his family, with 4 of the 5 children mentioned above still at home. His wife Kate is shown born in Florida to parents from Florida, but see her profile for other possibilities.^[1]
