William was a minor when his father William Sinclair (or St. Clair) passed away in 1330. He was the 8th Lord Rosslyn/Roslin. [1]
Death aft 17 Sep 1358
He married Isabella, second daughter of Malise, Earl of Strathearn.[1]

A picture of a Roslyn leaded glass window is available on Ancestry.com. Location of the window and relationship to this William are unknown.[2]
Three children that are attached to these parents appear to be incorrect as they are not included in other sources for this couple.[1] More research is needed.

We seem to have mixed some families here. William Sinclair of Roslin is only known to have had two children (See Scots Peerage Vol 6, Page 567 for details. They were both boys; Henry, mentioned here, and David. He may also have had another daughter Euphemia that is not mentioned in that source but is in the Parliamentary Record. Catherine, certainly, was a daughter of Sir William Sinclair of Hermanston. The references here and for the connecting families are also spurious. Was this a merge that went wrong?
