Catharine Wilhelmina Sinclair was christened on 27 Mar 1818 at St Peter's Church in Liverpool, Lancashire. She was the daughter of John Sinclair and Elizabeth (Dagnia) Sinclair. Her father's occupation was recorded as merchant, and the family's address as Kent Square. [1]
On the night of June 6th 1841, Catharine was with her married sister Elizabeth and family in Crescent House, Eccleston. [2]
By March 30th 1851, Catharine was living with her parents in Toxteth Park, Lancashire. Her father was a retired ship owner. [3]
By April 7th 1861, Catharine was living with her widowed mother in Devonshire Road, Toxteth Park, Lancashire. Her mother was a fund holder. [4]
Not found in 1871.
By April 3rd 1881, Catharine was living with her widowed sister Elizabeth in Toxteth Park, Lancashire; they had two servants. [5]
Catharine died in 1890, still unmarried, and was buried on 3 Apr 1890 in Toxteth Park Cemetery. Her age was recorded as 72. [6]
