Had the family moved 26 kilometres from Drumgower to Curraheen for Daniel’s birth / baptism or is Daniel from another Savage family that lived in Curraheen? Maurice would have been 60 when Daniel was born & Mary 41. Just a long shot but could Daniel have been adopted by his cousin’s family after birth. I find the digital baptism record illegible so wondering if any clues? I’m looking for a connection with my great grandfather Patrick (Savage-4778) baptised Curraheen 1852, whose mother Mary (Carmody or Corcoran) & father Maurice Savage are confirmed.
