Research notes

John's 1814 death

The date 16 October is for a Mortcloth payment. So presumed to have died in Oct 1814 - which payment may, or may not, be this John given he would be in his mid eighties. Henderson-2297

Runciman-1137 and Runciman-915 appear to represent the same person because: as discussed Mark, although you cannot delete people, you can merge them with their duplicates.

I suggest that you disconnect your newly added John and Elizabeth from being the parents of James married Agnes Herriot and merge them with their already exsting counterparts.
