If Elizabeth was born in 1723 as you have shown, she would have been 40-41 ish when James was born. Another IF: If there was only one John Runciman and Elizabeth Punton couple in the area, the East Lothian based John and Elizabeth were having children up until 1774, by which time Elizabeth is getting rather beyond child bearing age.

You cannot delete profiles from WikiTree, but you can disconnect the parents from your James, and, although the details differ slightly, I suggest you merge your couple with the ones I suspect you were thinking about who are already on WikiTree.
